About us.
HOSS, Heber Overgaard Support Service, 501(c)(3), was founded in 2024 by “Mayor” Wyatt Adams, Jason Pedigo, and Mike Kenney – all residents of Heber-Overgaard. When they realized the impact they could make on their little mountain town, these founders were inspired to rally the support of other generous individuals in an effort to make “crowdfunding” local and personal, focusing on their goal of directing every donated cent into the hands of those who need it most.

“Mayor” Wyatt Adams
Wyatt Adams was born in Tucson, Arizona. He grew up riding dirt bikes, fishing, and hunting. His passion for hunting, and helping others learn the skill, grew to helping Veterans on archery elk hunts for another non-profit group in the Grand Canyon State. As a kid, he came up to the White Mountains every summer to escape city life. Wyatt is a native of Arizona and loves to help others.
He has been in the Telecommunications field for 30 years, installs the Internet, and helps people every day to reach the outside world. Wyatt officially moved to Heber in 2006, where he has continued his work and has developed an outstanding reputation in Heber-Overgaard as a good and honest man, for which he has been affectionately nicknamed “Mayor Wyatt.” He knows almost everyone and is always ready to lend them a helping hand. He enjoys hunting with others, passing on the tradition to people young and old; team roping; and laughing with friends.
Wyatt lives by the Cowboy Code. If you know him well, then you know what that is.

Jason Pedigo
Jason Pedigo grew up in Arizona, enjoying life in the sun in a much smaller version of “The Valley” than we know today, where he owned and operated his custom metal shop, Quality Iron Works, for over 20 years. While living just a few hours away, Jason and his family purchased land up in Heber-Overgaard and were anxious to fulfill their goal of building a house and moving there full time — a dream that became reality in 2007.
After moving to Heber-Overgaard, Jason opened Quality Metal Works from his home, where he continued making one-of-a-kind custom metal designs. Word got out and Jason gained a reputation for his kindhearted and untiring efforts to help people in his community; and thus Quality Metal Works quickly became the go-to business for local organizations seeking amazing donated items for their fundraising raffles and other local events.
Quality Metal Works now has a storefront in the heart of Heber-Overgaard, where generous locals have come to purchase raffle tickets for charity events and where HOSS now has its headquarters. Jason and his wife have given countless hours towards helping everyone they meet; and now, with the birth of HOSS, they are yet again excited to be rolling up their sleeves and working to improve life in their little mountain community.

Mike Kenney
Mike Kenney made his first trip to the little town of Heber-Overgaard in 1987. He and his wife loved their newfound quiet mountain getaway and made plans to move there, officially purchasing land in Overgaard in 2004.
Mike has an extensive background in tier-one manufacturing experience in the automotive and aerospace industry; and in 2013 he used his ingenuity and manufacturing background to start the company KE Arms, which specializes in products for the firearm industry and has even donated patrol rifles to the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office.
But manufacturing firearms isn’t the only thing KE Arms is known for — they are also responsible for helping organize community raffles, making countless donations to local individuals, and supporting small businesses throughout Heber-Overgaard.
Mike enjoys hanging out with his family and friends and especially spending time with his German Shepherd pups.
